My Five Favorite Kitchen Hacks
Everybody loves kitchen hacks that make their lives easier. Here are my five favorite kitchen hacks!
Wooden Spoon Hack. Never worry again about a pot of water boiling over! Just lay a wooden spoon flat across the top. WARNING – this will not prevent boiling over on a pot that is overfilled.
Dental Floss Hack. Keep a pack of unflavored, waxed dental floss in the kitchen pantry. It makes splitting cake layers as easy as pie! It also works well for slicing logs of dough into uniform pieces.
Tin Foil Hack. When cracking eggs or mixing batter, lay a sheet of tin foil on the kitchen counter. It catches all those dribbles and splatters. Clean up is as easy as tossing the tin foil in the trash!
Blender Hack. Cleaning a dirty blender can be a messy job. Fill the blender halfway with warm water and a couple drops of dish soap. Turn the blender on for about thirty seconds. This removes a lot of the gunk so washing the blender is easy.
Clothespin Hack. Ditch those plastic chip clips. Not only are they expensive, they break easily. Instead, use wooden clothespins. They are inexpensive and work just as well as the plastic chip clips.
Try these kitchen hacks to make your life a little easier. Until next time, Happy Homemaking!
